The Tote Bag: Fashions most versatile item.

In a world of ever changing fashion, the one thing you can ensure is the famous tote bag will be around for years to come. It is the classic fashion item every girl should own.

The tote is the perfect pick for all walks of life, from lugging uni books through the rain from a class to the library to accessorizing that perfect outfit for that very important date, what girl doesn't need a bag to support her active lifestyle yet remain chic and stylish..?

Where to find one ASAP you ask?

My pick this season is the Black Sapphire Pioneer Tote from Mimco
Although a little pricey at $550 consider it a life time investment, your money will be well spent on a chic and versatile bag, and really who doesn't love the smell of real leather.

If you dont want to miss out but cant afford the heafty price tag another great, a cheaper pick is the Felix Bag available from Sportsgirl for only $59.95! With a price like that how could you go wrong?

So off you go, if you don't have one already or just think you need another BUY ONE NOW!
it will be a decision you wont regret. Xo

Social Media Fail

When Starbucks tweeted this back in June 2012 "Happy hour is on! Show us what makes you proud to be British for a chance to win. Don’t forget to tag #MyFrappuccino” I'm sure they weren't expecting the reaction they got, but then again i'm sure they didn't mean to ask it on the Irish Starbucks page!!

This tweet caused outrage over the twitter page, from sarcastic replies to rage filled replies, this was turning into a BIG mistake.

No one picked up on the mistake and it was still visible on their page some 5 hours after it was tweeted. Finally they became aware of their mistake and tweeted a apology.

It's defiantly not as bad as some social media disasters but it just shows how quickly word can get around on the internet, and the importance of monitering your brands social media presence before it affects the brands reputation.

...... Did i mention @starbucksir doubled their followers in the 5 hours this tweet was live.

Out with the old in with the new.

Summer is just around the corner, and what better way to greet it than with new fresh summer trends, exactly my thoughts!

..........BUT as they say, out with the old, in with the new and think about it the more room we have in the closet the more we can BUY!

Now if your anything like i used to be, that dress you bought 4 years ago that doesn't fit and is terribly outdated is still hanging in the cupboard isn't it? Don't worry we've all been there... But Seriously THROW IT OUT!

Here are a few tips you might find helpful with your de-cluttering adventure.

Set aside a few hours and go through everything & be ruthless, if it doesn't fit, get rid of it. If you haven't worn it all year your not going to, make piles SELL, DONATE, THROW, KEEP.

Once decided whats staying and going theirs no turning back!
Sort through what you keeping and get organising, work out what works best for you.
I sort by use, others may sort by colour or item choose, you will know which method will suit you best.

As summers slowly creeping in its out with those coats and in with those cute summery dresses. Why not store those winter items out of the way. You can pick up some really cute storage boxes for some ridiculously low prices.
My personal favorite is the GARNITYR range available from IKEA. From just $25 for 7.

......also head on over to PinkLilly they'll be sure to put some practicality back into your wardrobe.

Surely buy now you should have a rough idea of what you own and what clothes you need, now head on over to "One Women's Trash, is Another Women's Treasure" to start selling your un-wanted threads.

To keep up to date on the latest styling trends head over to Style Stalk and have a look.

Peace

Topic II

MY DIGITAL IDENTITY!

The 'This is me' work book asked us to do a Google search of our names and see what we could find.

I didn't find much, a few pictures from my old Myspace account which i had completely forgotten about, although as soon as i found it i managed to log in and delete it straight away.

I found a link to my Facebook and Twitter accounts but as i have the privacy settings high on both accounts only my friends and followers can see what i post or my photos.

The only real interesting this i found was the birth notice that was placed in the paper for my birth.

After completing my Google search i don't feel the need to change, or delete anything. and was quite surprised at the lack of a digital identity i have.
